Integration without interfering with the existing HVAC automation
Arkitech operates independently from existing automation systems. Using standard communication protocols, we read relevant signals. The physical setup consists of a compact industrial computer collecting the relevant data from the automation and transfers this data to Arkitech’s software platform.
Flexible, Scalable, Compatible
Our technology is applicable to any type of vessel, with any type of HVAC installation. We operate independently of system brands – whether it’s Carrier, Daikin, York, or Trane. Even older ships with legacy communication protocols can be connected to our hardware solution.
System-Level Approach
Arkitech takes a system-wide approach to optimization. Rather than merely controlling individual components, it coordinates the entire ecosystem of chillers, pumps, air handling units (AHUs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and fan coil units. This holistic approach ensures that the system as a whole is continuously balancing the cooling demand needed ensuring maximum efficiency of the HVAC system.
When settings are adjusted without context, it can lead to unexpected side effects, such as increased pump load or rising condenser load. Arkitech prevents this by monitoring the system-wide impact of every adjustment and compensating where necessary. Our approach ensures that savings in one area don’t result in higher consumption elsewhere.
Security and Control
Engineers on board remain in full control at all times. In case our system is disconnected the HVAC automation onboard continues to run as planned. Our systems comply with the highest cybersecurity standards. To protect your data, our solution is built with robust, state-of-the-art cybersecurity measures – including network encryption, VPN isolation per device, workspace data separation, and enterprise-grade identity & access management.
By following industry-standard encryption and security protocols, we safeguard operations against unauthorized access and evolving cyber threats – delivering advanced, future-ready protection. The secure environment also enables integration with remote access options, provides insights for both onboard and offshore teams, and supports analytics, alerts, and predictive maintenance tools. The system also supports data export in various formats, such as CSV and XML.
